Practice Space print reproduction on canvas with hand painted embellishments
 
These are REPRODUCTIONS on canvas of the original 12x16” acrylic + mica painting on panel from 2021, Practice Space.
 
Details of the reproduction and additions as follows:
 
Canvas print measures 9x12” with a depth of 1.25” 
The canvas is presented on solid wood stretcher bars, gallery wrapped, (stapled on the back,) and fade resistant.
Reproduction made with high quality archival inks.
Based on the textured elements from the original, I hand embellish these canvas reproductions with the addition of bronze paint on the profile (sides) of the canvas and the addition of the mica medium mimicking the original! 
FYI: Mica refers to a group of silicate minerals known for their ability to be split into thin, elastic sheets. There is an art material I use to adhere mica in small, flat pieces appearing like natural mineral glitter. 
This piece comes ready to hang!

A little insight into the inspiration of the original painting…
 
Practice Space was made in 2021, at a time when I was experimenting with collage as a practice of creative free form intuition. As many of you know I am deeply dedicated to self study through yoga, meditation and awareness practices, which influence every aspect of my life. This painting represents the synthesis and balance that guides us when we are able to tap into the unique patterns of our lives through self awareness; the key to a harmonious cosmos.
